Welcome! We are so glad you’re here. Legacy Learning Center proudly provides high-quality part-time and full-time childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old.
At Legacy, every child receives the same level of care, attention, and intentional support. Our team is committed to nurturing each child’s growth by helping them develop the social, emotional, and academic skills they need to succeed in life.
We provide a safe, loving, and welcoming learning environment during the most important years of a child’s development. Our center is designed to feel like a second home—where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to learn, explore, and build meaningful relationships with peers of all ages.

HighScope Curriculum
The HighScope Curriculum is an evidence-based, active learning approach approved for use in GSRP classrooms. Children engage in hands-on experiences that promote initiative, problem-solving, and independence. Daily routines, intentional adult-child interactions, and consistent classroom practices support kindergarten readiness and positive learning outcomes across all developmental domains.
Creative Curriculum
The Creative Curriculum® is a research-based framework aligned with Michigan’s Early Childhood Standards of Quality. It supports whole-child development by promoting social-emotional growth, language development, physical development, and early cognitive skills through intentional teaching and play-based learning experiences. Instruction is guided by ongoing observation and assessment to ensure each child’s developmental needs are met.
Preschool
Our Preschool Program provides a structured, hands-on learning experience for children ages 2–5, designed to support school readiness and whole-child development. Through a combination of HighScope and Creative Curriculum practices, children engage in intentional, play-based learning that builds early academic skills, independence, and confidence.
Children are introduced to early literacy, math, science, and problem-solving concepts, along with social-emotional development, language growth, and fine- and gross-motor skills. Learning is guided by developmentally appropriate goals, daily routines, and meaningful teacher-child interactions that support each child’s individual growth.
